I uploaded a pull request to add cursor memory prompt since I noticed it was missing. I will look for all of the cursor prompts ensuring ALL of them are open source, rather than just the 2 initial ones.

I’m using an autonomous AI agent on Augment’s agentic framework, and I could really use some advice on writing strong system prompts. My aim is to guide the agent so it: Understands its overall goal Knows what steps to take (and in what order) Stays within defined constraints What I’m stuck on: Clarity – Am I giving the agent enough context? Structure – Should I break objectives into smaller steps? Tone – How do I make sure the agent stays polite and helpful? Cheers, Calum Kerr
